The Future of Money is Gold

Alasdair Macleod, Chris Taylor and Michael Oliver are returning guests on this week’s program.

Alasdair will explain why gold, not crypto currencies, is destined to replace fiat money because cryptos can only act as stores of value so long as fiat exists. Alasdair will explain how a world transacting with monetary gold and properly constituted gold substitutes works. Unbacked bank credit expansion in Roman law was ruled to be fraudulent 1,800 years ago and markets will demand that to happen again. Global fiat now sits on the precipice of self destruction but what is there to prevent the elite from devising a new fiat system that allows it to continue to rob those it labels deplorable?

Those and related topics were discussed with Alasdair. Then Chris updated us on Great Bear Resources which was a star stock performer in 2020 but has recently gone quiet. Chris makes the case as to why Great Bear’s best days are yet to come and Michael shared his latest insights into key markets.
