The Challenge for Christians

In other words, the world is getting darker. It may become increasingly challenging not only to be a Christian but simply to call yourself a Christian. But then I recall the verse my mother taught me when I was around 6.  Matthew 5:16:  “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven.” As Dr. Benjamin Wiker noted in his closing lines in “Worshiping the State,” the only way to respond is the way the early Christians responded and that was through the love of Christ that went well beyond what the pagans were willing to do for each other.
